Tho I believe everyone can change for and to the good (side) of things SOME DAY.
Therefore I suggests he finds a place where raging is ignored or even allowed.
In the meanwhile contribute ONLY in a positive way on ANY source of PB or risk BAN Everywhere.
If he contributes at all that's up the the person.
The post* everyone was talking about was pointed out by Revan. (Read it)
(TY Revan, lets meet up on TeamSpeak again in near future)
Example; (+ little example story and situations)
(I DO agree with the ban and would actually have t-banned EVERYWHERE earlier-on/sooner as a warning and heads up on what will follow)
Over the years I met thousands of people that went a-wall (Crazy, Nuts, Ballistic) for countless number of reasons.
I also met 2000+ people that changed over time, for the good side of things.
(some ending up leading a clan or community with thousands of members and still growing)
I notice true out this Thread that this seems to have been a user that could have beneficially being helped on personal 1-on-1 level.
Like true VOIP on TeamSpeak and getting the person true the steps "How-To" in person true VOIP.
Then explain step-by-step and walk the person true the process.
Thousands even 50 year old's never used the internet for other then reading and playing....
Thus not known with "How-To" work it's way true websites and forums. (some not even have visiting forums)
Ones one loses it's favorite thing (like the ability to play on a gaming server) one could just snap.
That is WRONG to express that to others in such fashion as displayed and appeared by this user.
What I would like to see is everyone inviting each-other(everyone) to TeamSpeak disregarded of there appearance.
10 minutes of patience and dealing with someone frustrated COULD lead to one so dedicated he would walk true a pane of glass for a clan or community over-time/in-the-end.
Always having people active and actively helping on team speak = even óver... 250K new unique players/gamers EACH Year.
Would I have done anything different with this situation?, NOPE...not a lot.
I would have T-Banned sooner even on the forums.....well everywhere I would come across him since thousands of leaders/staff/members globally follow and trust me.
and in the end it's even beneficial for the one GETTING banned as long as after the ban everywhere where the ban was applied people provide the unbanned person with guidance.
I myself became whom I am today because of these things, personality and appropriate attitude for mé was already there. (well, majority of the time)
But years of guidance as a return for what I did for others after keep helping out and offering assistance...
Ended up with me being a know-a-lot of the gaming industry especially on back-end stuff of battlefield.
That and having over 1 mill people knowing you for something that you did somewhere in the past and allowing/going that extra mile for me*,
(*or for whom I request help or assistance)
My point; lets set a ban for this user IF and when he has proved to be a deasond and dignified person....
A ban for 6 months to 3 years....rules where broken and disrespected thus ban is earned For SURE!
But if one contributes in a positive manner for weeks and months on end with no was of playing where initially banned....
However unlikely it is that it will happen, if one dedicates to making up for mistakes.
One should be rewarded in return.
I have seen the most hated persons change into those that nowadays help the globe over 2x the damage done in the past.
If you don't offer an option to make a mence / make up, how is one better b banning one then the one being banned for whatever reason?
I say long term thinking and an option and opening to improve, and each one(person) and what(community or clan for example) that does just that....
Could become the most loved Community or Clan on the globe, not mentioning opening options and paving the road for others/
We all game, we all contribute, we can all make a difference....in the end, it's the ones making a profound difference that truely and in dedicated appearance (can) make a profound difference in the entire gaming industry.
A blimp on a radar is a blimp until noticed, as long as every blimp is almost as loved and cared for a a relative or loved one that we make a continues upwards going curve on the globe.
You, count they count...that is what makes/made the world and clocks go round.
Hoping to have inspired at least 1 person to make a difference and hoping everyone will join TeamSpeak and play toghether when not helping each other out.
Greetings Jimmy ;-D
